A public status page on your own domain
Proposed price: $5/month. Not yet for sale.
Status Note does not exist yet. We are testing interest in the plan below. Nothing here is billed, and your answer does not commit you to buy.
What the proposed plan would include
One public page on a domain you already own, one editor and up to 10 components. Publish manual incident updates and planned-maintenance notices. Keep 90 days of incident history, export your records, delete your account and cancel before the next monthly renewal. Domain registration would not be included.
Up to 100 email subscribers and 1,000 email deliveries per billing month. Each recipient counts as one delivery: an update sent to 100 people uses 100 deliveries. Subscription confirmation emails count too.
There would be no automatic overage charges. At the limit, email would stop until the next billing month; skipped messages would not be sent later. You could still update the public page. Both the editor and public page would show that email is paused.
Status needs a person to keep it current
This would be a manually updated page, not an uptime monitor. The public page would show when its status was last confirmed. After 24 hours without confirmation it would show a stale-status notice. Readers should check the service directly rather than assume an old status is still true.
The plan would include no uptime or email-delivery guarantee, SMS, private pages or automatic monitoring. Hosting and reliability are still being worked out; there is no launch date.
